该装置透过叉子仿真手切固态食品和勺子舀半固体、液体食品，测试每种饮食类别的力值与食品硬度、浓稠、黏着等指标；结合手动和仪器分析建立自动判定合格与否以及饮食分级。
亦可评估容易咀嚼、牙龈咀嚼、舌头压碎、无须咀嚼等分级规格。

The device simulates cutting solid food by hand with a fork and scooping semi-solid and liquid food with a spoon, testing the force value and food hardness, consistency, stickiness and other indicators of each food category; it combines manual and instrumental analysis to establish automatic determination of eligibility and food classification.
